Foster Care Committee Minutes
March 1, 2006

Hughes and Brooke Davidson (Lost and Found), Melissa Maile and Megan Alldritt

Updates:
- Salaried
Foster Parent bill passed the House amended to be a pilot and is calendared
for the Senate.
- Treatment
Bill passed the House and will move on to Senate-Some concerns regarding
contradictory language for Treatment vs. Therapeutic vs. RCCF.
- Foster
Parent nominations are still being accepted for Foster Parents of the Month
- CAFCA
training still needs presenters so please try and send in at least one per
agency
- SAFE
conference calls are happening monthly but each month procedure seems to be
changing. Melissa was on
Tuesday’s call and will write up brief minutes and we will send them out
for those who could not be on the call.
Trails Training
- Each agency is required to send 2 people to Trails training
Next Meetings
- Foster
Care Committee Meetings will take place on the 3rd Thursday of
the month at 10:30 at Hadley’s until further notice.
- Next
Meeting- April 20th 10:30-12:00
